Exploring Cheltenham Together…

One of the things I loved most about Charlotte & Jacob's wedding day was how relaxed and spontaneous it felt. There was no rushing from one location to the next or worrying about sticking to a strict schedule. Instead, we spent the afternoon wandering through the beautiful streets of Cheltenham, soaking up the atmosphere and making memories along the way.

Every corner seemed to offer something new, from elegant architecture and hidden alleyways to bustling streets full of character. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like an adventure with two people completely wrapped up in the excitement of being newly married.

A Rain Shower That Couldn't Stop the Fun

Of course, being August in the UK, the weather had a little surprise in store for us. A spell of rain arrived right after their intimate family photos, but rather than sending us running for cover, it simply became part of the story.

Charlotte and Jacob embraced every moment, laughing through the rain and making the most of the day exactly as it unfolded. Some of my favourite images came from these moments, proving that you don't need perfect weather to create beautiful memories. Sometimes it's the unexpected moments that make a wedding day feel even more authentic.

Cocktails at Bar 131

As we explored the town, we stopped off at Bar 131 for a well earned drink and a chance to take everything in. It was the perfect pause in the middle of an already incredible day.

Watching Charlotte and Jacob relax together, sharing a drink and enjoying those first few hours as husband and wife, was such a lovely reminder of what elopements are all about. Stripping away the pressure and expectations, and focusing on what matters most: spending quality time together and celebrating your love in a way that feels completely true to you.

Charlotte & Jacob – Thank You!

Charlotte & Jacob, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special chapter of your story. From exploring the streets of Cheltenham together to embracing the unexpected rain and stopping for drinks at Bar 131, your day was the perfect reminder that weddings don't need grand plans to be unforgettable. Sometimes all you need is the person you love and a sense of adventure.

Hearing your kind words after receiving your gallery meant the world to me:

"We can't thank you enough. You made our vision come to life and we will forever cherish these memories. You perfected our vision. The photographs look incredible and you did such a great job of capturing the essence of our day and our love."

Knowing that your photographs reflect not only how your day looked, but how it felt, is the greatest compliment I could receive. It was an absolute joy to document your story, and I hope every image takes you straight back to those moments of laughter, excitement, and love that filled your day from beginning to end.

If you're planning an intimate wedding or elopement in Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, Herefordshire, or beyond, and you're looking for photography that captures the genuine moments and the feeling of your day, I'd love to hear all about your plans.
